"Story of Tublu" novel review

I used to read Jahid Akhtar's blog for a long time and enjoyed his selective write-up each time.Surely he has a skill to make his reader for a quite while on his blog.Such an interesting weaving of a perspective into an exciting read.Perhaps it compels him to tell a tale in detail. That's right ,he heard his call in time.Without some dashing spirit, how could you show your own mettle in the track..?I firstly appreciate the author Jahid Akthar for his candid and spectacular view of life, that's too down to earth. No doubt, all the story poured like a streamline in emotion and with right precisions. That's why when the reader starts reading ,he never thought of giving it up on any excuse. That means he perfected himself in telling a story in his own right.Definitely,he will be having a good future on the line.

Well, let's come to the story,It starts in a remote place of Assam and scaled many places of India and abroad. It was having all emotions like childhood memories, getting a victory against the odds,Having the childhood sweetheart at last and this is all about the story in a nutshell. But the author tried his best to maintain grip over the story with many twists and suspense sequences. Here and there you will get some hot scenes in the novels ,especially college days of hero Tublu and Maina..the heroine.

We understand the humane of Sharmas to welcome the destitute and flood hit Tuvalu family and how the latter encourages the Father and son as their own one  and how they got bondage with them and gave back their  emotional return for Sharmas turned a tale and surging gratitude. It seems now and then backfired with unnecessary words and scenes. But by coming to an end, The suspense and racy style haunt you like anything, yet, The writer needs something in addition that was well known to him.

Savitribai Phule

Today is the important day for the women of India, the first ever woman teacher of this country, Savitribai born on this day in the year of 1831 in the state of Maharashtra. She is the symbol of freedom and enlightenment of womenfolk as she had served the down trodden caste people, especially along with girl children of all communities. In those days, very limited castes had allowed to have education, women's position in education was so pitiable. In such kind of social conditions,Savitribai learned education from her husband Jyotirao Phule and taught girl children, her contribution to women education is laudable with pioneer efforts in the field.

Hence her birthday has been chosen as women's teachers' day.All over India keep celebrating it with joy in memory of her legendary services. She established first women's school in Bhide wada,Pune. She can be considered as a first generation feminist of the country.Google marked this 186th birth anniversary with Google doodle. One whoever serves fellow being will always be forefront in the hearts of people.Savitribai is the great example for the say without any hesitation.

Other side of the police

Today news paper "Sakshi" daily brought me an enthusiastic item.Manchiryal and Peddapalli though small towns, came up for an illustrious thing. The insane and destitute street beggars and ill fate stricken ones were picked up by police yesterday, this time not for any crime but to help them.
The police made them clean shaven and well dressed and they had been sent to helping centers.A real humanitarian gesture indeed. It will give inspiration for more in the future.Ramagundam police commissioner Mr.Vikramji Duggal took the initiative for all these good Samaritan work.May God bless him.My blog salutes the great work behalf of all Telangana state.

Above news depicts the way they helped the people who were suffering from mental health problems.Mostly these have been abondoned by nearest relatives by letting them throw to their fate on to streets. Are we not aware of those kind of people ,often with no cloths..!There are NGO s for the sake of name and donations but how many keep doing the real service in the matter of street wondering mad people, who knows that once upon a time they could also have led   sane lives like normal human beings.

Yet another English daily

Telengana Today,an English daily launched in Hyderabad newly in this month, however a happy note after Deccan Chronicle and The Hans India, this is too owned by a Telugu speaking family. In fact, already DC was playing the lead role among the English dailies in the state.Hindu,Indian Express,Times of India,Hindustan Times have their own fair share of circulation.A Big fight has to be seen in near future.Maybe,Telengana Today withstands in it due to its background. There was a grapevine depicting beside this publication is none other than KCR family.Already his group has a Telugu daily Namaste Telangana and A TV Channel to support the government and party activities.Having an array of publications is not new for politicians.Or politics- connected industrialists.

Ramoji Rao possessed a biggest empire of many industries,of course Eenadu, the Telugu daily reigns in vernacular ones.Every kid knows that Ramoji is the kingpin in the party of Telugu Desam, though he was not seen in open.Perhaps to defend their own sides,KCR too foresighted in expanding their own publications because he knew how a paper evolve opinion of  the common people, one thing should be remembered that Ramoji group failed running an English daily "News time" some years back. And it was closed by now.

English reader psyche is different. His priorities and sensibility is unlike the Telugu daily reader. Most of  the Telugu dailies bluntly support caste based and party based issues, that can be perceived by a layman without any doubt.Sakshi Telugu daily stands in second position.Andhra jyoti in the third position which varied district to district. That's how Telugu dailies are living with their agendas. But with English dailies, things are different, how far this new daily will endure is a question mark..? Market of English dailies not so big ,particularly in the state,by name, it's clear it has to be in the limits of Telangana and to survive.

Odisha where I do not like most , a town

Some days back,  I have gone to Odisha state, especially Rayagada town. That place was decent many ways and prior to the place we could come across many scenic beauties without any doubt.Environment is safeguarded comparable. No doubt, but in the town among the people I observed a unique habit that was nothing but spitting. Why people spit automatically when they see others on the roads ,I don't understand it.People of orissa compared with many Indian states well versed in English and knew good habits always preferring to spit when  seeing other people. And road anywhere you see that signs ...!

I have gone to Rayagada Bus station. The building was constructed grandly perhaps with some lakhs but no neatness anywhere.Cow dung was seen everywhere in the building. In addition, other rubbish stuff..What government would do ,after construction in case it was not maintained well by people who are the ones to be there and have that bad odor...?

Paulo Coelho

This time let me pick a saying of Paulo Coelho for the letter P.I have gone through some of his novels like Aleph and other ones.He writes in his mother tongue Potuguese and which turns in to English translatin,so that they came to us and have had a reading.Quintessentially one thing to note in his writings is simplicity in telling, particularly a complex thought. It seems easy outwardly but it needs a lot of experience and clarity of thought to mould in to the fasion. For example the lines cited in the above picture reveals the truth what I tried to write here.

Those who translates his novels in to English are looked remarkable persons to pour the sense of the words that have been written in the originals. Else, they would not have got an appreciation of the readers.Sometimes, simple comparisons indicate abstract meanings.Plot wise, not too great to say but there was some magic in his writing style that makes one to move further on his books.

Batukamma Festival : A Unique Identity of Telangana State

With attaining Telangana State, Batukamma festival surged up as its state official celebration. The festival is another name for the heartbeat of  the soil of this region.Batukamma has had almost  history of 1000 years and which is an undivided spirit of the people. To be brief, this is the festival of flowers of the season. All the required flowers can be collected to make a seven layer gopuram like on a plate.Tanner's Cassia (Tangedu),Marigold(Banthi),Indian Lotus(Tamara),Cucurbita (Gummadi puvu),Luffa(Beera Puvu) and other flowers would be collected and after  setting them in the plate in seven layers,Women folk, girls mainly take part in singing concerned songs with having circled around the Batukammas, these florals are treated as Batukamma, one should remember it.

This festival played a vital role in the struggle of  Telangana, people united and displayed Batukammas as their symbol of emotional oneness. As Tilak used Ganapathi navaratri festival to unite people,so it was used in the struggle of Telangana movement.More to say,the festival remained as all people's celebration ,cutting off all religion and Caste barriers. The nine day bound festival started on September 30 and closed on October 7 this year.See the effect of the state power, this time all the government offices without any exception are staging Batukamma festival.

A Scandal in Bohemia

Sherlocks Holmes stories ,however, do not  require any new  introduction as they had been their own place in the sphere of  investigation. Cap,pipe and the mirror in the hand, all these would appear before us.Dr. Watson, assistant of Holmes also never fails to remind his witty conversation.Author Sir Arthur Conan Doyal is said to be not so popular when compared to his principal character ,that's the doting point to note.I don't know about others, for me,Holmes character was pretty known right from my childhood, and not exposed to its author. Is it happened to others..or only the case with me,I don't know..!

Recently flipped through the series of the stories. The story 'A Scandal in Bohemia' appealed to me for its interesting narrative.Plot was simple,Bohemian prince came to Sherlocks Holmes one day in disguise with a secret affair to be solved. He met an Opera singer Irene Adler in Warsaw, had a good time with her,not only that they got photographed too. That became a problem for him as he desired and engaged with a scandinavian princess. He was told it to be redirected to him on the day of his marriage, that could become a great obstacle for his marital life.So he asked Holmes to grab the photo at any cost, offered his provincial part as a gift in return. But our Super detective cleverly asked him to pay his present expences in cash, who knows what could happen once it got solved afterwards.

Holmes and his confidant Watson reached to the house of Irene and with their super plan got to know that the photograph was being so safe in a corner but was not possible to steal it eventually because of time constraint. In a shadowy place of the  street some unknown person wished them good night, first they had not recognised the person but it was none other than Irene Adler, the opera singer. They were conned by her wits.At last,Holmes appreciated her intelligence.

The illustrations created for the story are so apt and gave a chance to the reader to imagine the real characters how they could possibly be in real life, they provided life for the words all through the book.Let's talk about another story in the next post.

One simple mistake costs a life

We all knew that Kavery river judgement of the apex court triggered a massive riots and burnings of the buses and shops of Tamil origin in the state of Karnataka. It is also a fact that this row had been coming for 120 years and not a recent one.You see what happened in the month of september 2016, that too in the second and third weeks of it,almost 56 buses set ablaze in protest apart from vandalizing of properties of Tamil origin.I am neither from Karnataka nor from Tamil nadu. But as an Indian from some other state like Telangana writing it since a bus no way related to this problem burnt to charred not only that a boy of aged 3 years named by Vikas from Tanuku lost his life.

Do you know how..? The bus was coming from Shirdi to Hyderabad (16 th of this month) and while this journey reached to Humnabad of Karnataka, some unknown mob rushed and set this bus afire, that was early in the morning ,so as soon as heat comes nearer all the people got down in hurry except one boy aged only three, sleeping in his comfort, alas, lost his life for the unmerciful flames set by agitators .His name was Vikas belonged to Tanuku of Andhra pradesh.Tell me in which way he was responsible to the problem..and do the perpetrators scotfree at their will..if it is so..what kind of country we are living in...it's no way lesser than primitive society ,even there also an innocent could not have been killed like it.

The registration was also written on the bus as T.S. (Telangana State) Instead of T.N. ..,it was mistaken by the mob  as a Tamil Nadu bus,how knowledges the people were even at the boarder of Telangana but lies in Karnata. This case has to be taken as sue moto by the courts ,and innocent children to be protected from this sort of mad attempts.A lesson to be learnt from this incident ,not only Karnataka people but also all Indian citizens particularly in rash movements.
