Sircilla is renowned for its weavers in Telangana.They have brought glory back to the town with their innovative weaving skills.Nalla Parandhamulu,a weaver from the town,created a record when he designed a silk saree that fitted in to a big matchbox way back in 1987.Now his son Nalla Vijay is following his steps and continuing the innovations in weaving cloths.He produced a shawl which could be fit into a small matchbox.Emulating his father Vijay also designed a silk saree which could pass through a finger ring.His works gifted to many prominent persons.
